The salon came first.

Angela Beauty Parlour has served the same stretch of Gerrard St E for 15 years. It is run by our family, and NUARA's founder grew up inside it, on the books, behind the desk, listening.

Fifteen years in a salon chair teaches you what the beauty aisle refuses to learn. Press-on nails are cut for an average nail bed, so on narrower nails they slide and pop. "Nude" is mixed for lighter skin, so on deeper skin it reads grey. The occasion calendar on the shelf ends at New Year's, as if Karva Chauth, Diwali, two Eids, and a wedding season that runs October to March were not the busiest beauty days of the year.

NUARA exists to answer those exact gaps, and nothing else. Press-on sets weighted toward narrower sizes, in nudes mixed against real skin, not a display card. Korean skincare bought through verified suppliers, with the paperwork kept on file. Small kits timed to the calendar our customers actually live by.

We are small on purpose. A short shelf we can stand behind beats a long one we cannot. Every product here answers one of the four promises on our homepage: Real, Fits, Targeted, On time. If it does not, we do not stock it.

NUARA is founded by Adeel Khan and anchored at the salon at 1430 Gerrard St E, Toronto. First orders open in early 2027. Until then, the shelf is open to browse, sets can be pre-ordered, and the list gets first pick.

The standards

Real.Sourced through Canadian wholesale distributors, with supplier documentation kept on file. No grey market, no guessing.
Fits.Sized for narrower nail beds. Nudes mixed for deeper skin. Made for you as you are.
Targeted.A short shelf, chosen for named concerns. Not a warehouse, a selection.
On time.Built around your occasions, so the look is ready before the event, not after it.
